Kids Cooking Club is sponsored by University of Illinois Extension, CGH Health Foundation, and Whiteside County Senior Center.  Kids learned basic cooking skills, recipe reading, and enjoyed tasting all of their creations.

This was our men’s cooking class taught by Jo Owens of the University of Illinois Extension office. They just finished making easy breakfast muffins, omelets, and wheat pancakes. They said they learned a lot, and had a lot of fun.

Here is one of our computer classes, and this is what people are saying about the computer classes at Whiteside County Senior Center. The class was great. Terry is a very good teacher, polite and patient. I enjoyed the class, and learned a lot.  I think it was worthwhile.  Class was very helpful !  I need to buy a computer so I can practice at home. Terry and Myron were very good at explaining everything.  I was very satisfied with the class and learned some short cuts that will help me. I especially liked the slower paced teaching.  Good Teachers !  The class was very interesting and helpful. Keep up the good work.  Thanks for your help.

Volunteers are very important people !
