To determine which areas of need are being met and to decide what services are not being met and
should be developed to meet the needs of Whiteside County citizens.
To make the general public and existing agencies aware of the needs and problems of Whiteside
County citizens.
To serve as medium through which organizations can exchange information, coordinate programs
and engage in joint endeavors for Whiteside County citizens.
To promote and stimulate programs that will help Whiteside County citizens enjoy more meaningful
lives.

Line Dancing Change for January
Beginning January 6, 2012, our Boot Scootin' line dancing class will be held on
Fridays at 10:00 a.m. This high energy class is ideal for everybody, whether you are
new to line dancing, or have mastered the steps. You are guaranteed to work up a
sweat while strutin' your stuff! See you there - with or without your cowboy hat!

Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Line Dancing
Fridays at 10:00 a.m.
Receive a punch card, get it punched for every exercise class, and enter in a
drawing for a prize.

Looking for Players
We are looking for pinochle players at the Whiteside County Senior Center for
Mondays at 12:30 p.m. Please call if you are interested. Also, if anyone would
like to start a bridge game, please call and let us know.
Circuit Breaker/Illinois Cares Rx applications getting sent
back!
The Whiteside County Senior Center has had several clients
call or come in about their Circuit Breaker/Illinois Cares Rx
applications being returned in the mail as not deliverable. The
Illinois Department on Aging has said that they have fixed the
problem and to mail applications in again. If you have any
further problems with your application or you want to check
the status of your application please contact our Outreach
department 1-815-626-7707 or toll free 1-888-622-9230. You
may also contact the Illinois Department on Aging at
1-800-252-8966.
